Guruji Sri Vast Joy to the World The time has come What is Christmas We can say that Christmas is a symbolic day of your own Christhood You are not celebrating the carpenter you are celebrating the Christhood What does Christhood mean Christhood is a state of being The state of the Christ needs to be born within everyone resurrected within everyone Christmas is not about decorating having a party buying things consuming or getting gifts Christmas needs to be meaningful We have to see how we are preparing ourselves internally how is our inner experience our inner growth Internally take some time to prepare yourself to give birth to the Christhood within you Feel it in you in your body Recognize it within yourself IVINYA IVINYATIMES TIMES DIVINYA Cosmically this period is very profound It is a time when we have the chance to move into the three highest chakras of love common good and union with the Supreme Divine It is important to recognize the Christhood within you You have so many ideas about yourself that you are talented creative successful educated this and that I want you to also recognize how much Christ you are The compassion acceptance equality rebellion passion towards life living impersonally beyond the boundaries of culture and family beyond the accumulation of wealth Christ was crucified on the cross for what Some say it is because of your sins that he PAGE PAGE 33
was crucified This is true But whatdoes it mean This means that he was crucified because of jealousy mockery betrayal guilt and shame denial doubt fear negativity selfishness and inability to see the Divine All those things only made him to be crucified Right now 2000 years later these same energies still exist within us We have to recognize how much Christ we are rebellious compassionate impersonal unconditionally loving accepting forgiving These all are Christ qualities There are even more healing sharing being humble prayerful meditative and at the same time responding to life itself You have to recognize how much of those qualities you have within you Then you can see that there is a space which you can grow into During your life you have learned that you are not good enough Now recognize all those Christ qualities in you and nurture them Learn how to love the Love Let it love Keep yourself open and you will see the Life the Divine flowing through you We have the chance to bring the Christhood back to life You will see that you have so much freedom Give this freedom to others Free others Instead of waiting for others to accept you accept others Instead of waiting for someone s forgiveness forgive them Be thankful for others in your life Keep your life your spiritual growth very simple In this way we will resurrect the Christ We have the chance to bring the Christhood back to life Joy to the world the time has come IVINYA IVINYATIMES TIMES DIVINYA PAGE PAGE 43
Shelley Christmas is inside of me everyday Before I came to Divinya I had been wandering everywhere searching for my truth Wandering with the idea that freedom meant doing what I wanted when I wanted and how I wanted without realizing that I was drowning in my preferences I had been traveling for a long time endlessly restless changing my mind everyday up and down back and forth inner peace a seemingly unattainable goal I felt lost without a community starving without the company of others with the same intense spiritual hunger stuck repeating my same old patterns again and again a slave to my emotions I arrived at Divinya around the last summer solstice distracted disturbed and confronted The winter solstice is now beckoning and I am calm I have freed myself from the enslavement of my emotions They come stir me then mostly leave without any entrapment I wake up each day born fresh filled with gratitude for my senses for the love that flows through me If Christmas is a celebration of Christhood in me then Christmas is everyday a profound wonderful heavenly invitation I am here in community sharing a vision sharing devotion Steadfast for the first time in my life I have fixed my sail to trusting in existence no longer allowing myself to be tossed endlessly back and forth by the waves I have fixed my sail to unconditional love Love that extends beyond myself beyond my partner beyond my family It is so simple So immense Love is not to be looked for Love is to be expressed Love pours out of me for trees I don t know the name of for plants for which I know of no medicinal or culinary use An earthworm strikes me as beautiful and pulls at my heart with the same intensity as when I go and greet the horses in the quiet time before dawn I surprise myself with the love I feel for these people whom I am sharing my life with whose pasts I am unaware of whose stories I don t know IVINYA IVINYATIMES TIMES DIVINYA Loving for no reason Loving because it is what I am here for Loving how we are all growing together United in a passion for life and in transcending Transcending hatred to love transcending frustration to love transcending confrontation into love transcending doubt into love Living at Divinya I have finally found what I have been looking for for such a long time The truth about what love actually means and the freedom to express my love everyday PAGE PAGE 54
Twan Finding love within Life in Divinya allows me to celebrate Christhood to express my love unconditionally on a daily basis What unites us here is the vision to live in peace freedom beauty and love For so long I have looked for happiness outside of me I thought I could find fulfillment in a career materials and a partner But whatever I did only momentarily covered up the feeling of incompleteness The more I started to look within the more independent my happiness became Letting go of all what I thought I needed is an interesting journey Old beliefs and needs are dissolving into presence Fear guilt hate and doubt have been with me for so long Fear of being unaccepted guilt for the longing for pleasure and doubt because I did not know what to do We are united by the vision to live in peace freedom beauty and love IVINYA IVINYATIMES TIMES DIVINYA Since I started to live in Divinya all what was hiding in the dark has been revealing itself I realize that my true longing is not having possessions or a partner but to find completion within myself to transcend all negativity into hope faith joy love and light A famous phrase from Christianity says Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us I would rather say I thank my sins and all who have sinned against me All those sins have taught me what does not bring me peace and does not bring me to love They have pushed me to look further to find fulfillment to find love the love which I now have found within Divinya is a profound living and learning environment to expand our capacity to express our love This is what celebrating Christhood means for me PAGE PAGE 65
Hannah What it means to be human By living in Divinya I feel how the state of Christ is slowly entering into me I experience it in the change of what is bringing joy to me Just by being in Divinya just by being open to how life is lived and approached here the source of my joy is changing and Christ slowly becomes alive in me For example when we had a nice dinner the other evening it wasn t the excellent food which brought me joy We had invited some more people at the last moment and there was one meal less than the number of people How happy I was to dispense the main course without any grudge or regret actually this act nurtured me more than any food could have done And such a joy arose in this experience of going beyond myself In the end I felt so lucky to have received the opportunity to experience this expanded joy by responding to what was needed in the moment Divinya inspires me to explore the best of me to grow into the ultimate possibility of what it means to be human Somehow my individual needs are dissolving I am realizing that there is no personal good but common good The boundaries between me and my surroundings are dissolving therefore only one good exists Joy doesn t arise from getting something nice for myself that cannot satisfy me anymore I want more I want to contribute to something greater than me for the good of everyone That is where real joy arises Divinya inspires me to explore this quality within me Divinya inspires me to explore the best of me and I am so grateful for this encouragement for this fertile ground in which I can bloom growing into the ultimate possibility of what it means to be human IVINYA DIVINYA IVINYATIMES TIMES PAGE PAGE 77
Ruben Loving by sharing To me Divinya is all about sharing sharing in the broadest sense of the word Before coming to this community I used to think that we are totally separate from each other I would do a lot of things for myself In Divinya I have been engaged in so many shared activities with the whole community like gardening constructing cleaning dancing and singing Here we are sharing everything together food moments and passions but also our perspective on life and the Godliness that is experienced from within Through this direct experience of sharing life with each other I come to understand more and more that there is a divine overarching link that unites us all Jesus Christ also gave us a glimpse of this connection While he was breaking the bread at the last supper he said I share with you this bread eat it it is my body I think I have never fully understood this statement until I came across this phrase God s purpose was that the body should not be divided but rather that all of its parts should feel the same concern for each other If one part of the body suffers all the other parts share its suffering If one part is praised all the others share in its happiness 1 Corinthians 12 25 26 I came to see that we are literally all part of one body To me it is so precious that this deep message is actually integrated in the way of living in Divinya Sharing one s happiness and feeling the same concern towards every being even beyond human life Moving towards a complete harmony between every living being Looking at nature around me this way of sharing the Earth makes so much sense to me now For humankind this means that we are one in the same one in the Godliness from within In our connection towards everything we see hear taste touch and share together After this realization Christmas will never be the same again for me IVINYA DIVINYA IVINYATIMES TIMES PAGE PAGE 88
Christmas Vanilla Cookies Ingredients for ca 60 cookies 250 g all purpose flour 80 g icing sugar 25 g vanilla sugar 100 g of peeled finely ground almonds 200 g soft butter For topping 50 g vanilla sugar 50 g icing sugar Sieve the flour icing sugar vanilla sugar and the almonds Stir all well together and then add the butter Mix until you get a soft and even dough Cool the dough in the fridge for 2 hours Make 10 g balls of dough roll them into ca 5 cm length and bend them so that you get a half moon Bake the cookies in 170 C for 5 8 minutes or until you see the corners becoming slightly brownish Allow the cookies to cool down for 2 3 minutes and then sprinkle the mixture of vanilla sugar and icing sugar on the freshly baked cookies Enjoy Kayleigh Christmas is celebrated with family a sentence that was very normal for me This year is the first Christmas I m not celebrating with my parents and my brother Instead I m spending this magical time in Divinya where we expand our love beyond the boundaries of gender social status and family This is expressed in little things like baking Christmas cookies for our neighbours Making cookies might sound like a small thing to do but when I look at these cookies I do not see just a tasty cookie I see the innocent joy we had making these cookies I hear the little jokes and the laughter we shared when a cookie was funny looking and we needed to make a new one I see the love the togetherness and the care we shared I feel so blessed to share this experience with our neighbors giving them a little taste of Divinya a place where we are not only sharing our love with our family or friends but with everyone who happens to be with us in this moment IVINYA IVINYATIMES TIMES DIVINYA PAGE PAGE 98
Florie The Christ in me The Christhood is resurrected within me Every day the Existence offers me the possibility to create a space for it inside of me Through my thoughts words and actions again it becomes alive Every day I am gifted with this beautiful opportunity Through my love Through my acceptance Through my perseverance my willingness to take action to lead It will be alive inside of me By transcending the anger inside of me this pattern of controlling others I give space to it inside of me By going beyond my own needs by practicing simplicity I give space to it inside of me By thinking of others before me I allow it to flow through me At Divinya so many opportunities are gifted to us to express our love unconditionally Because who are we for each other In truth no one No father No mother No brother or sister No partner No friend At Divinya a space is given to us to love one another beyond our boundaries To expand Yes through love care acceptance simplicity generosity humbleness I will live the Christhood within me I wish to embrace this truth fully IVINYA IVINYATIMES TIMES DIVINYA PAGE PAGE109
